I started this small oil painting as a plain air painting in Kazakhstan and completed in studio. It depicts a traditional Kazakh Yurt that is used as a movable house. Located on the opposite bank of Irtysh River it blended beautifully with the scenery and inspired me for painting.
I carefully select my painting materials to ensure long life of my artworks. For this one, I used oil paint on paper for oil painting Fabriano Tela. This paper is acid-free and archival, 300 gsm.
