I was very happy to see the snow after many years living in Egypt. This painting was created based on the photo I took by Irtysh River in Kazakhstan. I came there several times during my trip to enjoy the winter sunset. The sun was going down very fast but during these few minutes it filled me with happiness and inspiration.
I created this artwork using my own photo as a reference, and oil paint on paper for oil painting Fabriano Tela. This paper is acid-free and archival, 300 gsm.
